Atlanta United FC News Release

ATLANTA - Atlanta United returns to action Sunday as the club hosts Philadelphia Union at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The match is set to kick-off at 2:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, FOX and FOX Deportes, while fans can also tune-in to radio calls on Star 94, SiriusXM and La Mejor.

Atlanta holds an all-time record of 5-4-4 against Philadelphia in MLS play: 4-0-3 at home and 1-4-1 on the road. It has been a tightly contested matchup historically, with Atlanta maintaining a slight edge with 21 goals scored to the Union's 17 over the first 13 meetings. This is the first of two meetings between the teams in 2024 as Atlanta will travel to Philadelphia on Sept. 28.

Atlanta is 3-0-0 at home in 2024, outscoring opponents 9-1, and looking to win its first four home matches of a season for the first time in club history.

Atlanta enters the weekend tied for the fewest goals conceded in MLS with five and is tied with Philadelphia for the second-best goal differential at plus-five. The Union enters the match as the only remaining undefeated team in MLS this season.

Saba Lobjanidze and Brooks Lennon have combined to form a productive partnership on Atlanta's right side, and the two lead the team with three assists each and a total of seven goal contributions.

Accurate crossing has been a strength for Atlanta this season as the team leads MLS in successful crossing percentage at 49.4 %.
