ATL UTD 2 hosts Indy Eleven in the fourth meeting all-time between the two sides. In the lone meeting of 2019, a late goal from Alioune Diakhate sealed a 1-0 win for the Eleven back on June 22 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Last time Atlanta hosted Indy, the teams played to a 1-1 draw at Coolray Field Aug. 25, 2018. ATL UTD 2 is riding a three-match unbeaten streak while the Eleven is vying for the top spot in the Eastern Conference with four matches left before the USL Championship playoffs.

Atlanta is coming off a 3-1 win over Charleston last Wednesday, Sept. 18 in Kennesaw. Luiz Fernando opened the game with a chip over goalkeeper Joe Kuzminsky in the 10th minute to put the home side in front. The Battery equalized through Nico Rittmeyer in the 26th minute, but ATL UTD 2 stormed back in the second half with goals from Andrew Carleton and a penalty from Jack Metcalf to secure consecutive home victories.

Indy enters Wednesday's match on the heels of a 1-0 loss to Birmingham Legion FC. Brian Wright gave Legion FC the lead in the 39th minute while Drew Conner was shown a straight red card less than 10 minutes into the second half, forcing the Eleven to play a man down the rest of the way. While Indy remains unbeaten at home this year, the team holds a 6-6-1 record on the road and has dropped its last two away matches.
