ATL UTD 2 hosts Birmingham Legion FC Wednesday night for the second meeting between the two teams. Atlanta dropped the inaugural meeting 4-0 on July 20 at BBVA Field.

In its latest outing, Atlanta fell 2-1 to Memphis 901 FC on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Jack Metcalf put the home side ahead in the 37th minute when he converted a penalty for his first professional goal. However, Adam Najem responded with a pair of goals off the bench in the 79th and 83rd minutes to give Memphis the win.

Birmingham enters tonight's match unbeaten in its last eight matches, winning six during that stretch. Last time out, Legion FC drew 1-1 with Loudoun United on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Segra Field. JJ Williams put Birmingham in front with a goal in the first half, but Kyle Murphy scored two minutes into the second half to split the points.
