EDINBURG, Texas - The U.S. Soccer Federation's Independent Review Panel has overturned the one-game suspension and accompanying fine for the red card issued to Rio Grande Valley FC goalkeeper Nico Corti for denial of a goalscoring opportunity in the 44th minute of the Toros' match against Austin Bold FC on September 1.
As a result of the Rio Grande Valley FC appeal, Corti is eligible to play the Toros' next regular season game on Saturday against the Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
