Mason Named to Team Canada

London, ON: The London Knights are pleased to announce that Goaltender Steve Mason has been named to Team Canada for the upcoming 2008 World Junior Hockey Championships. Mason ,19 will join Jonathon Bernier of the Lewiston Maineiacs as the goaltenders for Team Canada. Mason was the Knights 11th Round Selection at the 2004 OHL Draft. He was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 3rd Round at the 2006 National Hockey League Draft. Mason appeared in the 2007 Super Series with Team Canada this past August 2007. He was named 2006-2007 OHL Goaltender of the Year in June 2007.

Mason joins many recent London Knights to be named to Team Canada.
