Martin, Andrews out for Friday's game at Dayton

Lakeland, Fla. Quarterback Jeremy Martin, who leads the National Indoor Football League in total offense, and wide receiver Williams Andrews, of the Lakeland ThunderBolts, will be sidelined with injuries for the teams Friday night game at the Dayton Warbirds.
Martin is out with a right leg contusion, but is expected to be in the lineup Sunday, May 8, for a home game on the Ray Lewis Field at the Lakeland Center against the Kissimmee Kreatures. Game time is 4 p.m.
Andrews, the Bolts (2-4) second-leading receiver with 22 catches, has a foot injury and could also return for the game against the rival Kreatures.
The former Gardner-Webb University star, Martin, had 1,254 total yards offense, averaging 209 yards a game. He had the third most passing touchdowns in the league (21) and was fifth in passing yards a game (197.7).
He also was eighth in pass rating (105.1), completing 61.2 percent of his passes and throwing only eight interceptions this season. He led the ThunderBolts in rushing with 11.3 yards a game.
Andrews has three touchdown receptions, 242 yards for an average of 11.0 per catch. He also has returned five kick offs.
Backup quarterback Michael Peeples will get the call from head coach Garret Hagin. Peeples is 6-foot-3, 220-pounds out of Tennessee Tech. He has thrown four passes and completed two in limited action behind Martin.
