SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs have announced their player and student of the month, as well as the hardest working forward and defenceman, for October.
Forward Adam Marsh is the Irving Oil Player of the Month.
The 17-year-old from Chicago, Illinois, posted six goals and five assists for 11 points in ten games last month. He had three multi-point games, including two goals in the Sea Dogs' 6-5 win over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles Thursday in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Goaltender Bobby Dugan is the Swagelok Student of the Month.
The 17-year-old from Seminole, Florida, expresses sincerity, politeness and friendliness at all times. Striving for academic success, he represents the values of strong work ethic and dedication.

In nine games, the 17-year-old Montreal-native Dove-McFalls registered three goals and two assists for five points, along with a +5 rating. Bateman, 19, from Caledon, Ontario, chipped in two assists and maintained an even plus/minus rating through ten games in October.
Their dependability, quality of play and commitment this past month have earned them this honour.
They have won a Ryobi Hardest Working Player prize pack, and are now one step closer to becoming the QMJHL seasonal winner of a Ryobi $2000 scholarship and a Ryobi 18V Lithium 6-piece combo kit.
