
Marlies Take 2-0 Series Lead with 5-2 Victory over Milwaukee

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies defeated the Milwaukee Admirals, AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators, by a score of 5-2 tonight in Wisconsin to take a 2-0 series lead.
Brandon Kozun would open the scoring for the Marlies at 18:51 of the first period. Sam Carrick gave Toronto a 2-0 lead notching his third goal of the series on a powerplay at 8:07 of the middle frame. Calle Jarnkrok pulled the Admirals to within one less than a minute into the third period. The Marlies would respond with back-to-back powerplay tallies from Brandon Kozun and Korbinian Holzer. Bryan Rodney scored a late goal for Milwaukee before Jerry D'Amigo added an empty net marker to secure a 5-2 victory.
Game three of the series will be played back in Toronto on Thursday, May 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825) or by visiting marlies.ca.
