
Mark Teahen Begins Rehab Assignment with Knights

FORT MILL, S.C. - Infielder Mark Teahen of the Chicago White Sox will begin an injury rehabilitation assignment tonight with the Charlotte Knights.
Teahen (TEE-en), 28, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on June 1 (retroactive to May 31) with a fractured right middle finger sustained while fielding a ground ball on May 30 at Tampa Bay.
He is batting .255 (35-137) with three home runs and 14 RBI in 45 games this season, his first with the White Sox. Teahen has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, going 14-38 (.368) with three doubles, one home run and seven RBI.
Charlotte plays tonight at home vs. Rochester. Teahen is in the Knights starting lineup as the designated hitter and will bat third
