
Marcus Gretz Signs Pro Hockey Contract in Germany

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds announced today that OA defenseman Marcus Gretz has signed a pro hockey contract with Lippe-Hockey-Hamm of Germany3.
"We would like to thank Marcus (Gretz) for everything he has given to the Firebirds organization," President of Hockey Operations Terry Christensen said. "He is the perfect example of a leader, and we owe him a debt of gratitude for all of his hard work and contributions to the Firebirds hockey club these last five years."
Gretz, a native of Macomb, Mich., was drafted in the 2nd round (#23 overall) of the 2017 Priority Selection draft. He spent his entire OHL career with the Firebirds playing in 125 career games for the club, which is the fourth-most in franchise history.
