Marauders Split Twin Bill in Tampa

Tampa, FL - The Marauders (8-1) split a doubleheader with the Tampa Yankees (5-4), winning the first game 4-1 before fall- ing in eight innings 2-1 in the second game. The Marauders were the last team to lose a game in minor league baseball. RHP Mitch Keller (W, 1-0) earned the win in his second start of the season. He whiffed four over six strong innings to outduel Domingo Acevedo (L, 0-1). Acevedo whiff nine before succumbing to RBI his be C Christian Kelley, 1B Will Craig, and 3B Ke'Bryan Hayes. The Yankees seized the win with a walk-off single by Trey Amburgey in the eighth of the second game. A slow bouncer to the left side cashed in Jose Mateo from third base. RHP Sam Street (L, 0-1) took the loss in his third inning on the mound.
