Jupiter, FL - The Bradenton Marauders (10-14) sank into last place with a 2-1 loss to the Jupiter Hammerheads (11-13) on Sunday at Roger Dean Stadium. Bradenton lost a 1-0 lead late after getting six scoreless innings from RHP Yeudy Garcia. Garcia whiffed six and walked one.

Bradenton opened the scoring in the fourth. 3B Chase Simpson's ground out scored LF Jordan Luplow. Bradenton was sty- mied in the later innings though by familiar adversaries Matt Tomshaw (W, 1-0) and Jose Adames. The former Fort Myers ace Tomshaw went three scoreless in relief and Adames pitched the ninth for the save.

RHP Junior Lopez (L, 0-2) gave up the go-ahead base hit to Brad Haynal with two outs in the eighth.
