WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are pleased to announce the Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl is officially sold out, when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Saskatchewan Roughriders Sunday September 13th at Canad Inns Stadium (kickoff 3pm) in the Annual Banjo Bowl Game.
The game is in support of the United Way, where fans will have the opportunity to make donations at the gates in support of their annual campaign. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will also make a special cheque presentation to the United Way at half time to recognize their efforts.
The Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl Weekend will consist of many great events leading up to the game on Sunday.
Friday Sept 11th 6 pm - 10 pm Upperdeck Sports Bar, McPhillips Station Casino
Come out and meet Bomber players and coaches and participate in a Foosball, Air Hockey and Bubble Hockey tournament. Join in on the fun and be entered to win great prizes including Bomber jerseys and much more. Blue Lightning will be on hand to perform during the evening and showcase their new 2010 calendar available for sale. Wear your Bomber gear and receive 15% off food in the Sports Bar.
Saturday Sept 12th 10 am - 1:30 pm Autograph & Fan Appreciation Day, Canad Inns Stadium
Doors open at 10am. Bring the kids and enjoy kids interactive inflatable's by McDonalds set up in the south end zone and receive free snacks and meet Ronald McDonald, Hamburglar and Birdie.
Watch the Bombers walk through at 10:45 am for an hour as they prepare to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders the following day.
Autograph session begins at noon till 1:30pm and fans will be able to get the 2009 team poster.
Sunday Sept 13th Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl Game, Canad Inns Stadium
Doors open up at the South Gate beginning at 1 p.m. "Paint the town Blue" - The Blue Revolution face painters will be there as well as homegrown entertainment by Stonypoint Bluegrass Band. Meet Buzz and Boomer and much more! Join us at half time and look for the Manitoba Lotteries Ho Down Show Down for the chance to win gift certificates to The Bomber Store.
Kick off for the Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl will be at 3pm.
Fans are also invited to come watch the Labour Day Classic between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders from field level at Canad Inns Stadium on Sunday, September 6.
Games and activities for the entire family get started at 2 p.m. with great prizes available to be won. If you're a season ticket holder, exchange the voucher in your season ticket package at the Ticketmaster location on Maroons Road to receive your complimentary ticket. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster and are only $10.00.
Fans are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Proceeds in support of the Never Alone Foundation. Presented by the Winnipeg Free Press.
