
Mammoth's Carey named Mann Cup MVP

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario - Colorado Mammoth forward and 2006 National Lacrosse League all-rookie team selection Dan Carey was named the Mann Cup's most valuable player on Wednesday night after leading the Peterborough Lakers to their second Canadian national indoor lacrosse championship in three years.
Carey tallied two goals and two assists on Wednesday to help the Lakers to a 17-10 victory over the Victoria (British Columbia) Shamrocks that clinched the best-of-seven championship series in five games. Carey scored 12 goals and added nine assists in five Mann Cup games.
