DENVER - Following an 11-5 regular season, the Colorado Mammoth (#2 seed in West Division) takes on the Minnesota Swarm (#3) in the West Division Semifinal on Saturday at 5:30pm MT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center. The Mammoth, which hasn't hosted a home playoff game since 2008, finished the regular season with the second-best record.

"Hard work, dedication and intensity have earned us a postseason home game," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett.

Colorado averaged a league-best 13.56 goals per game, thanks in part to National Lacrosse League MVP John Grant Jr. and NLL Rookie of the Year Adam Jones. The duo combined for 79 goals and 192 points.

The Mammoth was 2-1 against the Swarm this season, and outscored Minnesota by a combined score of 19-9 in fourth quarters this year. Colorado tied a franchise record on Opening Night, netting 20 goals against Minnesota in the six-goal victory. In three games head-to-head games, the Mammoth has averaged 15 goals scored.

Captain Gavin Prout, who missed the final two games of the regular-season, is expected to make his return on Saturday. Despite missing time, he finished fifth in the NLL with 83 points.

Colorado, which is winless at home this season on Fridays (0-3), is undefeated on Saturdays at Pepsi Center (5-0).

The game will be nationally-televised live in high definition in primetime on CBS Sports Network. Tickets are on sale now at the Pepsi Center box office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com, or by phone at 303.53.HORSE.
