December 28, 2010 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Altitude Sports & Entertainment that will make the network the exclusive television home for Mammoth broadcasts for 15 regular-season games.
"We are excited to create a new partnership with Altitude that allows Mammoth games to return to TV," said Mammoth President & General Manager Steve Govett. "Our collective exploration of new technology with the Altitude management team will allow the Mammoth to have the best television exposure in the National Lacrosse League. Altitude once again has shown its commitment not only to the Mammoth but also to the NLL, and fans throughout the league will benefit from this broadcast partnership."
"Fans requested that we air more Mammoth games, especially away games, and we listened," said Shelly Harper, senior vice president of programming and production for Altitude. "This is our way of thanking Mammoth fans and Altitude viewers for their incredible support of the team."
Mammoth coverage begins with the season opener January 8 at 7PM (MT) against the defending NLL champion Washington Stealth at Pepsi Center. Tickets are still available for that contest.
Each Mammoth home game aired on Altitude will be televised live, while road games will be shown on a short delay. Josh Gross will provide play-by-play analysis and Andy Lindahl will provide color commentary for the broadcasts.
