Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth has designated the 23 players that will take the floor at Pepsi Center on Saturday, Dec. 30, when the club opens its fifth National Lacrosse League season against the Rochester Knighthawks.
"We've once again gone through a great training camp with a group of very talented players," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "Our coaching staff is pleased with the level of play so far, and is confident that this collection of 23 individuals will become a strong team."
The Mammoth returns 17 players from last season's team that won three consecutive playoff games to capture the NLL championship after a 10-6 regular season.
The Mammoth will conclude its preseason activity this weekend with a three-day trip to the Salt Lake City area, highlighted by an exhibition game against the Arizona Sting this Saturday at 1 p.m. at the E Center in West Valley City, Utah.
