Wings Announce Final Roster For 2007 Season

Philadelphia Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson announced the team's final 23-man roster for the 2007 season.

Headlining this season's roster are ten-year veteran and the Wings third all-time leading scorer Jake Bergey. Fourth-year forward and the Wings' second all-time goal scorer (185) Jeff Ratcliffe and eleventh-year face-off specialist Peter Jacobs will also be featured on this season's roster. Five rookies join the Wings squad this season including first-round draft picks Ian Llord (fifth overall) and Athan Iannucci (eighth overall). Devon Britts, Kevin Nee, and Kyle Fiat round out this season's rookie class.

"Llord and Iannucci have both made a big impact in training camp so far and we expect them to continue to make an impact during the season," said Sanderson. "This is a big, fast team and we're excited to get to work when the season opens on January 6 against Edmonton."
