Mammoth and Altitude announce broadcast schedule
January 6, 2005 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER â Altitude Sports & Entertainment and the Colorado Mammoth have announced the Altitude television schedule for the remainder of the 2005 regular season.
The Mammoth schedule â the most extensive television deal to be reached by a single National Lacrosse League franchise â includes nine of Colorado's 15 remaining games (four home, five away). All games will be broadcast live except for the Mammoth's regular-season finale at Rochester on April 15, which will be shown on tape delay at 10 p.m. Altitude will also air five other NLL games during the season.
Altitude's next Mammoth broadcast is this Saturday when Colorado hosts the Arizona Sting at 7 p.m., live from Pepsi Center.
"This schedule gives our fans the best possible exposure to the Mammoth this season," team president and general manager Steve Govett said. "Our partnership with Altitude will help us take this great game and this great league to the next level."
In addition to the game telecasts, Altitude will also broadcast Mammoth Slashback, a weekly 30-minute highlights and information show. Mammoth Slashback airs Thursdays at 5 p.m. with repeats Thursdays at 10 p.m. and Fridays at 1:30 p.m. A season-review program featuring highlights and in-depth interviews will air in June.
Launched in September, Altitude is the television home of the Colorado Mammoth, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids, Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Colorado Eagles, the Big Sky Conference, Air Force Academy, Metro State, ESPN Syndication (including Big 12 Conference, Mountain West Conference and Western Athletic Conference events), the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and Utah Grizzlies, as well as other local and regional sports and entertainment programming.
