DENVER â The Colorado Mammoth and the Mile High chapter of the American Red Cross have joined forces to raise money for victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami.
Some players and members of the Mammoth's Wild Bunch dance team will be collecting donations at Pepsi Center entrances prior to Saturday's 7 p.m. game against the Arizona Sting.
"The Mammoth really wants to help those affected by this tragedy," team president and general manager Steve Govett said. "And with the help of the Red Cross and our tremendous fans we hope to make a contribution on Saturday night."
