
Mallards Waive Netminder Yeager

MOLINE, Ill. (January 4, 2012) - The Quad City Mallards have waived goaltender Derek Yeager, the Mallards announced today.
The Mallards signed Evansville-area resident Yeager, 22, yesterday to serve as backup to David Brown in the Mallards' game in Evansville against the IceMen last night. Yeagar joined the Mallards on a five-game contract to fill the gap before netminder David McKee returned to the Mallards from the American Hockey League's Peoria Rivermen. McKee has now rejoined the club and will be available for action when the Flock takes to the ice Friday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Wichita Thunder at the i wireless Center.

Single game tickets are also available at the i wireless Center box office, at Ticketmaster outlets, through www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period. Individual game tickets are available for $12 in the upper level and $17 in the lower level and $25 for the first row along the glass for adults. Tickets for kids 12 and under are available for $5 off adult rates. In addition, tickets are available to military personnel for $2 off the regular adult rate.
