Madison, Wis. - The Madison Mallards look to move to 6-3 tonight against the Kenosha Kingfish (4-4) at the "Duck Pond". First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.

The Mallards handily beat the Kenosha Kingfish last night in an 8-0 rout highlighted by dominant pitching and offensive production. Starting Mallards pitcher Sterling Sharp (Eastern Michigan) was named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night after he pitched five shutout innings, striking out five Kingfish batters and giving up three hits. Offensively, three Mallards batters had two RBI, and designated hitter Spencer Blacksher (Southwest Baptist) went deep in the seventh inning to record his first home run of the year. The Mallards also beat the Kingfish on Monday, 17-5.

On the mound tonight for the Mallards is 6'2", 190-pound southpaw Tom Constand (Western Illinois). Constand is 1-0 on the year and was steady his last outing, pitching five innings and giving up two runs, one earned, on seven hits while striking out three in a 15-3 win over the La Crosse Loggers last Friday.

Kenosha is scheduled to start Zach Morgenstern (0-1). Morgenstern has appeared twice for the Kingfish this year, receiving his loss in a 2-4 defeat against the Green Bay Bullfrogs, where he gave up three runs on eight hits and walked five.

Tonight is also MINI of Madison Yoga Night featuring former WWE superstar Diamond Dallas Page. Tomorrow, the Mallards will play Kenosha at the "Duck Pond" to finish off their two game home-and-home series at 7:05 pm.
