Majors, Rogers TV Launch Sweet Seats Contest

Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors are pleased to present a brand new contest this season known as the Rogers TV Sweet Seats, held in partnership with the hockey club's official television broadcaster, Rogers TV (Peel Region).

This contest is open to all minor league hockey teams in Mississauga, and is available for all 34 of the Majors 2009-10 regular season home games.

If you're currently a member of a minor hockey team and your team has accomplished something fabulous, you could win a chance for you and your team to watch a Majors home game from the Sweet Seats - brought to you by Rogers TV (a division of Rogers Cable Communications).

To enter, simply have your team manager or coach complete an online entry form at www.rogerstv.com/sweetsuccess and tell them about a recent achievement your team has accomplished. In fifty words or less, the story can be about winning a tournament against all odds, reaching a fundraising objective or having rallied around a teammate.

On top of being chosen as the official Rogers TV Minor Hockey Sweet Success Challenge winners, you and your team will be treated like VIPs in your very own 22-person custom private suite at the Hershey Centre, provided by Rogers TV. An assortment of snacks and drinks will be delivered right to your suite.

The Rogers TV Sweet Seats at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga - a sweet place to hang out and watch the game. This contest is effective immediately, as Rogers TV (Peel Region) is now looking for teams to be guests for the Majors home opener on Friday, October 2 at 7:30 p.m. against the Brampton Battalion.

The Majors continue their road trip this weekend with a contest against the London Knights tonight at 7:30 p.m. Mississauga visits the Sarnia Sting on the following evening at 7:30 p.m. A complete list of the Majors 2009-10 regular season schedule is available at the Majors website ( www.stmichaelsmajors.com).
