
Rangers Survive The Attack

Jeff Skinner scored an over-time goal that edged the Kitchener Rangers 3-2 over the Owen Sound Attack.
Gabriel Landeskog notched the lone goal of the first period, his first in the Ontario Hockey League on a Rangers power play at the 12:55 mark. Patrik Andersson and Ryan Murphy each added a helper.
The Attacks' Garrett Wilson leveled out the score 1-1 at the 9:36 mark of the second period. It took Jeff Skinner 24 seconds to answer back with his third goal of the season to edge Kitchener 2-1.
Owen Sound tied the game 2-2 at the 8:54 mark of the third period to push the game into over-time.
Skinner buried his second of the game after 2:34 minutes of over-time action.
The Rangers travel to Guelph this Sunday, September 27th to face the Storm at 2:00pm. They return to home ice on Friday, October 2nd when the Saginaw Spirit visit. Game time is 7:30pm.
