Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Tickets for the widely-anticipated "Major League Weekend" at Isotopes Park will go on sale to the general public this Saturday at 10 AM. The Major League Spring Training games will take place on April 1 and April 2 and will feature the Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Tickets will be available at Isotopes Park, at the Isotopes Box Office, by calling Ticketmaster at 883-7800, at all Ticketmaster outlets, and at Ticketmaster.com.

"Major League Weekend presented by Sandia Resort, Golf, & Spa" will showcase the Rockies against the Rangers on April 1 at 4:05 PM and the Diamondbacks vs. Texas on April 2 at 1:05 PM.

Tickets are $22.50 per game across all seating levels (Box, Reserved, Berm, Picnic, and Standing Room). Fans wishing to purchase tickets for both days can do so at a discounted $40.00 packaged price. Tickets can be purchased at Isotopes Park with cash or MasterCard/Visa. Due to the overwhelming demand for the tickets, fans will be limited to buying six tickets per purchase per game.

"The stunning onslaught of inquiries we've received already indicate a huge demand from the public for these games," stated Isotopes General Manager John Traub. "We fully anticipate that fans will be camping out overnight to make sure they can get the best locations we have available."

Fans can guarantee themselves tickets to "Major League Weekend presented by Sandia Resort, Golf, & Spa" by purchasing Isotopes Season Tickets or Mini Plans, currently on sale at the Isotopes Park Box Office. Call 924-2255 for more information.

This event marks the first time in more than 30 years that two Major League teams have squared off in Albuquerque and the first time ever that three teams have played here on consecutive days.

The Isotopes' third season in the Pacific Coast League will commence with their Home Opener on April 7 vs. the Iowa Cubs. Individual game tickets for the Isotopes regular season will go on sale on March 12.
