The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced the 1st Team All-MASL for the 2017-2018 regular season and earlier this week, announced the All-Rookie and Rookie Honorable Mentions as well as 2nd Team, 3rd Team and Honorable Mention All-MASL Teams.

Milwaukee Wave Forward #24 Max Ferdianad, Midfielder #26 Ian Bennett, Goalkeeper #30 Josh Lemos and Defender #75 Jonathan Santos were all recognized with post-season awards.

"It's all very well deserved but if you ask any one of them, I bet they would trade it in for a chance to play for a championship," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "That's the type of professional players that they are and the type of people they are. They deserve this recognition."

1st Team All-MASL included Ferdinand and Bennett, who have made 1st Team for a second year in a row.

"It's always an honor and blessing," said Bennett. "To be recognized by your peers, coaching staff and those across the Major Arena Soccer League is amazing but our eyes are still on the big prize."

Bennett ended the MASL regular season atop the leader board in Power Play Goals with 12, finished 2nd in the league in points and goals with 64 and 50.

Ferdinand finished the MASL regular season atop the MASL in assists with 31 and 8th in points with 34.

"We need to keep doing what we've been doing to take that next step," said Ferdinand. "It feels like we're doing something great and obviously it helps the team but the main thing is to win it all."

Milwaukee Wave Goalkeeper #30 Josh Lemos made 2nd Team All-MASL and finished the MASL regular season with 16 wins. He also served up one shutout this season.

Defender #75 Jonatan Santos received an 'Honorable Mention' for his defensive efforts. Santos finished the MASL regular season 7th in blocked shots with 34. Neither Lemos or Santos were available for comment.
