Major Arena Soccer League Announces Revised 2019-2020 Regular Season Schedule

November 23, 2019 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Baltimore Blast News Release

BALTIMORE, MD (Nov. 23, 2019) The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) have announced a revised 2019-2020 schedule this afternoon. The revision was made necessary as a result of MetroStars Canada ceasing operations earlier this afternoon.

The MetroStars ambitious 2019-2020 home schedule ultimately proved to be financially and logistically improbable and the MASL Board of Directors decided to make the necessary changes now to ensure the best outcome for the league as a whole.

The changes will see the MASL still split into two conferences, with the Western Conference at eight teams and the Eastern Conference at nine teams. Every club in the MASL will still play 24 games this season, 12 at home and 12 on the road.

For the Blast, the December 7th home game will now be played against the Orlando Seawolves at 6:05 PM ET at the SECU Arena. The March 20th and 22nd games versus Metrostars Canada have been cancelled and will be moved to Thursday January 30th at the Orlando Seawolves and Saturday February 22nd at the Rochester Lancers.

You can view the revised Blast schedule at https://www.baltimoreblast.com/stats#/team-schedule?team_id=56727. The Blast will continue to prepare for tomorrow's season opening rematch versus Utica City FC at 2:00 PM ET at the Adirondack Bank Center.
