Frisco, TX, (March 17, 2013) - The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), kept the score close until the fourth quarter when the Maine Red Claws pulled away to win 109-94.
At the half, the two teams had tied it up eight different times, with the largest lead being six points for both. The third quarter served as a tug-of-war match with 10 lead changes, a final differential of three (Maine 77-74), and an even point spread of 26-all for the period. The Red Claws came out firing early, going up by ten in the first minute and a half, and continued to run away with the score.
Justin Dentmon led the Legends in scoring with 22 while Dwayne Jones had the team's only double-double posting 19 points and 17 rebounds.
Jermiane Taylor came off the bench to lead Maine with 29 points, while Curtis Jerrells added 19 points and 10 assists.
