Delonte West Makes Debut with Legends

Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors in Delonte West's first game with the team.

The Legends fell behind early and were unable to outscore the Warriors in four quarters. In his debut with the team, West helped spark the Legends to a good start with 8 points in the first quarter. The Legends took their largest lead of six points in the first but were unable to hold back the Warriors who managed to spread the scoring amongst all active players. The Warriors shot 48% and had six players in double-digit scoring.

The Legends were led by Justin Dentmon with a game-high 26 points. Dwayne Jones tallied another big night and was the game's leading rebounder with 18 boards.

Darington Hobson was the leading scorer for Santa Cruz with 18 points, followed closely Lance Goulbourne with a double-double 17 points and 15 rebounds.
