
Magowan Returns to Toledo

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that forward Ken Magowan (MA-gow-n) has been reassigned by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
Ken, a 2007 ECHL All-Star, returns to Toledo since he signed a player tryout agreement on February 17th. Magowan appeared in 25 games with the Sound Tigers, posting 2 goals and 2 assists while collecting 25 penalty minutes. Ken is expected to be on the Storm roster for Game 3 against Cincinnati Thursday night. In 44 games with the Storm this year, Magowan has collected 14 goals and 14 assists. The third year professional has also seen AHL time with the Albany, Philadelphia, and Rochester over the prior two seasons. Ken was a member of the Sound Tigers training camp prior to the season. Magowan collected 57 points (27g, 30a) in 68 games with Toledo last season.
