
Texas' David Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that it has
suspended Texas defenseman Jean-Francois (JF) David for one game as a
result of his actions in ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs Game #D-2 at Gwinnett on
Apr. 15.
David was assessed a Match Penalty for high sticking at 17:13 of the third
period. He is suspended and fined under Rule 21.1 - Match Penalty.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and
the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the
ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
David will miss Texas' game against Gwinnett (Apr. 18).
