The Osceola Magic fell to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at Bert Ogden Arena 137-133 Friday night.
Jermaine Samuels Jr. collected a double-double for Rio Grande Valley tallying 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Cam Whitmore and Jarrett Culver each netted 25 points. Osceola's Trevelin Queen led all scorers with 35 points, while Brandon Williams added 25 points in the losing effort.
The Vipers shot 57.6 percent from the floor during the first half and took a 77-66 halftime lead. Osceola made a fourth quarter push cutting the lead to just two with 24 seconds on the clock, the Magic ultimately fell short in their efforts to secure a comeback victory.
The Osceola Magic (3-3), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will face the Austin Spurs, on Sunday, November 26 at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park at 5:00 PM. The game will stream on NBAGLeague.com.
