FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends (2-4) overcame an early 17-point deficit and forced overtime but were bounced by the target score, falling to the Mexico City Capitanes (3-3) 119-116.

The Legends went up 7-0 before Mexico City hit, but the visitors responded with a 24-0 run to take their largest lead of the night 26-9. Texas chipped away at the deficit through the second and ended with a 14-point streak of their own to make it 54-all at halftime.

The Legends took their largest lead (+11) in the third and held a nine-point advantage at the buzzer. Mexico City opened the fourth with a 9-point run and tied it up multiple times but couldn't catch the edge until the final minute. Trey Burke drove in for a three-point lead, but AJ Lawson returned the favor and added one at the stripe to tie the game with 14.9 seconds on the clock. Theo Pinson got hold of the final attempt by Burke to take it to extra minutes and opened the OT with a fadeaway to give Texas the first lead.
