Mad Ants Top Cruise on Pedro Bradshaw's Late Three

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Fort Wayne won their third straight game and their seventh in the last eight games on Thursday at home, 115-113, over the Motor City Cruise.
Fort Wayne hit 16 three pointers in the game, while Motor City hit 15.
The 11 a.m. tip saw Fort Wayne jump out to a quick start, hitting four first quarter three pointers to hold the early advantage with four of their five starters cashing in from deep. Motor City countered with eight first quarter points from Pistons assignment player Luka Garza, who looked primed for a big game.
Things stayed tight in the second quarter, though with Fort Wayne still in control most of the way. They led 60-58 at halftime after Deividas Sirvydis knocked down a three pointer in the closing seconds of the half. That three gave Motor City eight for the half, but Fort Wayne knocked down nine first half three pointers, including three from Darius Adams. Fort Wayne's Jordan Bell went into halftime on triple double watch with a seven point, 10 rebound, five assist half.
The Cruise raillied in the third, taking the lead back and increasing it to as much as nine on the hands of Saban Lee, who scored 14 in the quarter on 6-of-8 shooting. Adams though scored eight of his own in the quarter and Fort Wayne took an 86-85 lead into the fourth quarter.
Adams then scored 11 points in the fourth on his way to a game high 33 points on the day while Andrew Rowsey hit two more three pointers to pace the Mad Ants. Motor City refused to go away, despite the Mad Ants pulling ahead by 10 points in the final frame. Trayvon Palmer scored 11 fourth quarter points, going 3-of-4 from three-point range in the process. Motor City took a one-point lead into the final ten seconds of the game, when Adams drove the lane and found Pedro Bradshaw in the corner for what would be the game winning three pointer with 5.1 seconds remaining.
Adams led Fort Wayne with 33 points, aided by Bell's 15 point, 13 rebound, seven assist near triple double. Nate Hinton had 18 points and 11 rebounds for his 14th double double of the season for the Mad Ants.
Motor City was led by Lee's 29 points as one of seven Cruise players in double figure scoring. Both Garza (16 points/10 rebounds) and Cheick Diallo (10 points/10 rebounds) registered double doubles for the Cruise.
The teams will meet again Friday night in Fort Wayne with a 7 p.m. tip.
