Fort Wayne, IN (January 12, 2010)-The NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have reacquired Jamelle Cornley and Jared Reiner has been released due to injury.
Cornely, a Penn State standout, was waived on November 18th due to a knee injury where he later had surgery. He is expected to play tonight against the Maine Red Claws.
Reiner is suffering from a back injury and will not be traveling with the team this week as they take on the Erie BayHawks and the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Reiner was averaging 15.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in 10 games for the Ants.
