SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Jan. 12 - The Iowa Energy defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce 126-115 on Tuesday night at the Sioux Falls Arena. Iowa shot a blistering 57.3% from the field (51-of-89) and snapped a modest two-game skid.

Sioux Falls jumped out to an 11-4 lead in the first four minutes of the contest but Iowa came back to tie the game at 14 apiece with just over five minutes to go in the opening quarter. After a high-scoring second quarter Iowa led 71-61 at halftime.

Sioux Falls trailed by 10 points (100-90) going into the final quarter, but Leemire Goldwire made back-to-back 3-pointers following consecutive Energy turnovers to cut the lead to four points. That was as close as Sioux Falls would get as Iowa made 13-of-23 field goals in the fourth quarter to improve their road record to a league-best 7-2.

Iowa was led by Earl Barron, who posted his tenth double-double of the season with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Marvin Phillips and Sean Barnette came of the bench to tally 17 and 16 points, respectively. Curtis Stinson just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine assists.

Sioux Falls was led by Keith Brumbaugh, who recorded his first double-double of the season with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Goldwire scored 22 points while Reggie Williams added 17.
