Mad Ants Announce Additional Open Tryout Dates

FORT WAYNE, IN (September 4, 2013) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they will hold open tryouts on September 29th in Detroit, October 6th in Charlotte, and October 19th and 20th in Fort Wayne for the 2013-14 NBA Development League season.
The Detroit tryout will take place on Sunday, September 29th at the Beech Woods Recreation Center, 22200 Beech Road, Southfield MI. Check-in begins at 9:00am and the tryout will begin at 10:00am.
The Charlotte tryout will take place on Sunday, October 6th at Carolina Courts, 24 SW Spring Street, Concord, NC. Check-in begins at 9:00am and the tryout will begin at 10:00am.
The Fort Wayne tryout will take place on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th at the Concordia Theological Seminary, 6600 North Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN. Check-in begins at 9:00am on Saturday, October 19th and tryouts will begin at 10:00am.
The Mad Ants local player tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants' coaching staff. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the team's training camp, which will begin in early November.
Interested players should submit the official registration and release forms, in addition to a $150 non-refundable fee to the Mad Ants office. Late registration is $200 for all forms received after Wednesday, September 25th (for the Detroit tryout), Wednesday, October 2nd (for the Charlotte tryout) and Thursday, October 17th (for the Fort Wayne tryout). Payments must be made by money order or cashier's check. Application forms are available at www.fortwaynehoops.com.
