Armor to Hold Second Round of Dance Team Auditions

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, today announced the details for a second round of auditions for the 2013-14 Armorettes Dance Team. The open tryouts will take place on Saturday, October 5 at Healthtrax (3 Weymouth Road, Enfield, Conn. 06082) with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m. and auditions starting promptly at 11:00 a.m.
Armorettes Dance Team members perform at all Springfield Armor home games and act as ambassadors in the community and at team-sponsored activities throughout the year. Dancers must have flexible schedules to attend rehearsals and home games and must have reliable transportation. Participants will be judged on dance technique, showmanship and physical appearance.
Applicants are required to be at least 18 years old at the time of auditions and must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
Pre-registration is $15 through Friday, October 4 at 5:00 p.m. On-site registration is $20 for the day of the audition.
