Macon Hockey To Be Heard On Radio and Internet

[Macon, Ga.]—With the season getting underway tonight, the Macon Trax have announced all games will be available on radio and the internet. Previously the Trax announced all games and Chuggin' With The Trax would be broadcast on Talk Radio 1670 WMWR. In addition, all 56 games during the 2004-05 season can be heard via the internet through Live Sports Network and Eyecentric.com.

Fans who are not located in the Middle Georgia Region can gain access to the Trax web cast by logging onto www.macontrax.com and clicking on the Live Sports Network link on the left side of the page or the can go directly to www.livesportsnetwork.com/macontrax.

"We are very excited to be partnered up with the Macon Trax this season." said Tim Erwin Live Sports Network General Partner, "Last season I know the Trax organization were a model franchise in their league and we are honored they chose us to do their web casting."

All games will be on a pay per listen basis. Fans will have the option of buying each game individually for $1.95. For those fans wishing to purchase a season's pass it is highly discounted at $49.95 for all 56 regular season games.

"I am very happy we were able to work this deal out with Live Sports Network and eyecntric.com." said Trax Broadcaster Adam Minnick, "Tim and his staff have been great this week and I know all our fans outside of Georgia will be pleased with the product we have created."

Live Sports Network has been around for three years while Eyecentric is going into its eighth year of business. Recently Live Sports Network has become the exclusive home of video casting for the Central Hockey League.

The Trax begin their 2004-05 season with a six game road trip on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 in Huntsville and Columbus respectively. The Trax will debut on home ice Saturday, Nov. 20 against the Columbus Cottonmouths at 7:05 pm. All games can be heard on Talk Radio 1670 WMWR, with pre-game starting 15 minutes before face off. Make sure to reserve your season tickets and single game tickets for the 2004-05 season. The Trax open their home schedule on November 20 against the Columbus Cottonmouths. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Trax office at (478) 742-4849. Season tickets start as low as $99 and single game tickets are only $6.
