The Ice Flyers took the 2-0 lead when Ryan Salvis stole the puck and skated in on a 2-on-1 with Malcolm Lyles. After a little puck movement, Lyles ripped a one-timer on a pass from Salvis and the puck went five hole on Hince. Salvis' assist was the only one and the goal came 7:44 into the third period. Salvis iced the game when he scored an empty net goal with 34.6 seconds left.

Ross MacKinnon stopped every shot the Ice Bears threw his way to pick up his second shutout of the season and push his record to 7-1-1.
