The M-Braves took game one by a final score of 1-0 and game two by a final score of 10-7. The M-Braves also captured the series victory after winning four out of five games against the Lookouts.

Travis Demeritte's 414 ft. solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning proved to be the difference in game one. M-Braves starting pitcher, Kyle Muller tossed a complete game (seven innings) shutout in his home debut at Trustmark Park. Muller scattered five hits, struck out five, and did not surrender any walks. For the 20-year old Muller, his win on Saturday night was the third of his Double-A career in as many appearances. Muller (3-0, 2.50) earned the win while Chattanooga starter, Sean Poppen (5-6, 3.55) suffered the loss.

The M-Braves continued their winning streak in game two as they came away with a 10-7 victory. Chattanooga took the early lead when they plated two runs in the top of the first inning courtesy of a RBI single by Luke Raley followed by a sacrifice fly from Jaylin Davis.

Trailing 2-0 entering the bottom of the third inning, the M-Braves responded by cranking out a four-run inning. Ray-Patrick Didder produced the first run of the game for the M-Braves by doubling on a line drive to left field that allowed Connor Lien to score. Didder scored two batters later when Daniel Lockhart grounded into a force out. Tyler Marlette collected two RBI in the inning after ripping a scorching ground ball to second base. Lockhart and Salazar both scored on the Marlette single.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the M-Braves picked up their fifth run of the game via a ground ball RBI single to left field from the bat of Didder.

Chattanooga narrowed the scoring deficit to one run in the top of the fifth inning after Brian Navarreto and Jordan Gore smacked RBI singles to make the score 5-4.

The M-Braves tacked on three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, earning an 8-4 lead courtesy of sacrifice flies from Jonathan Morales and Connor Lien and a line drive RBI single to right field by Luis Valenzuela.

The Lookouts made things interesting in the top of the sixth inning when Jaylin Davis launched a three-run home run over the left-center field wall to bring the Lookouts within one. Brent Rooker and Luke Raley scored on the home run from Davis.

Mississippi padded their lead in the bottom of the sixth inning by adding two insurance runs. Demeritte manufactured the M-Braves first run of the inning via a line drive double to right field that allowed Pache to cross the plate. Marlette followed with a sharp ground ball infield single to third base, plating Salazar.

M-Braves starting pitcher, Michael Mader (4-3, 4.12) earned the win. Mader exited the game after the fifth inning with a final line of 5.0 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 2 K, and 0 HR.
