PENSACOLA, FL - The Mississippi Braves (31-31) won their fourth in a row and took the series with it in a 7-6 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (37-26) on Sunday afternoon at Blue Wahoos Stadium.
All seven runs came off four home runs, and the M-Braves finished the series with 17 home runs. The M-Braves survived a six-walk, five-run eighth inning and held on to win in the ninth.

In the second, Hudson Potts got the scoring started with a two-run bomb into the water past left field, his third of the season, to make it 2-0. Jesse Franklin V hit a solo shot on a line to right field in the third to make it 3-0.
In the fifth, Landon Stephens crushed a three-run home run to center field to make it 6-0. Stephens leads the team with 13 home runs and homered in three straight games. The outfielder has seven homers in 15 games in June.
Javier Valdes hit the fourth and final home run, a solo shot down the left field line to make it 7-0 in the sixth.

The M-Braves walked six and hit a batter in a five-run eighth inning for Pensacola. Victor Vodnik, the third pitcher of the inning, struck out a pair to get out of the inning. The M-Braves led 7-6 heading into the final inning.
Vodnik came back out for the ninth and struck out the side for his fourth save. The right-hander has not allowed a run in his last 11 1/3 innings.
