COL - none Key Plays: Back-to-back two-out RBI singles by Carlos Mendez and Darnell McDonald paced a three-run 5th, leading the Lynx to victory. Recap: The Lynx got one in the bottom of the 2nd. Jack Cust singled to center, moved to third on two groundouts, and scored on a Steve Lomasney line-drive double to right. Columbus scored their only run in 4th, when Marcus Thames ball down the left field line took a funny bounce off the wall and went for a triple, scoring Nate Rolison. The Lynx got their big three in the bottom of 5. Brian Roberts' singled with one out, and stole second. Eddy Garabito walked, and Luis Matos flied out, and Jack Cust walked, setting the stage for back-to-back RBI singles by Carlos Mendez (scoring Roberts) and Darnell McDonald (scoring Garabito and Cust). The Lynx bullpen of Mike Mohler and Mike Garcia came on to shut the door, with Garcia pitching a scoreless 9th for his 7th save. Sean Douglass (6.0ip, 3h, 1r, 1er, 3bb, 6k) wins his 4th straight.
Christian Parker (5.0ip, 6h, 4r, 4er, 4bb, 3k) takes the loss.

Jack Cust 1-for-2, 2 bb, 2 runs Next Game: The final game of the Lynx 8-game homestand takes place tomorrow, when Ottawa takes on Columbus. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. After the game the Lynx head to Norfolk for four games, and then on to Richmond for four more, before returning to Ottawa on May 17th for an 8-game homestand. Notes: Before the end of the Lynx game, yesterday's game was completed, in which the Lynx lost to Columbus 4-3. The first 10.5 innings were completed last night, before rain suspended the game. Drew Henson's 10th inning homer proved to be the difference, as the Lynx squandered bases-loaded opportunities in the 7th and 9th inning. The resumption of the game took nine minutes, enough for four Lynx batters to come to the plate, and time for Jason Anderson to pick up his 2nd save. Willie Banks (1-1) was the winner in relief, while Darwin Cubillan (0-3) took the loss.
