
Lynx Sign Forward Emily Engstler

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Emily Engstler to a seven-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Engstler, a 6-1 second-year forward, was originally signed by Minnesota on June 14 to a hardship exception contract and released on July 26. The 23-year-old was drafted in the 2022 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever and later signed with the Washington Mystics at the start of the 2023 season. While with Minnesota, she has averaged 1.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.3 steals throughout 10 games.
Engstler will be available for tonight's game against the New York Liberty. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m. CT and will broadcast nationally on ION.
