
Lynx All-Star Center Nicky Anosike and Over 500 Volunteers from ImpactLives to Pack Meals to Benefit

WHAT: Second of two Minnesota Lynx and ImpactLives packing events.
WHEN: Saturday, September 5, 2009 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Lynx All-Star center Nicky Anosike to assist in packing food from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Target Center 600 First Ave N Minneapolis, MN 55403
WHO: 500 ImpactLives volunteers, along with Lynx all-star center Nicky Anosike and Lynx staff.
INFO: The Minnesota Lynx and ImpactLives, a Minneapolis-based non-profit organization, are teaming up in the fight against world-wide hunger. Prior to the September 5 Lynx versus Seattle Storm game, over 500 volunteers, including Lynx All-Star center Nicky Anosike, will head to Target Center to pack more than 150,000 meals to feed starving children and adults in the U.S. and around the world. Saturday's event is the second of two packing events at Target Center; 150,000 additional meals were packed and sent off on August 28 prior to the Lynx vs. Sacramento Monarchs game.
The packing events at Target Center will represent ImpactLives' two largest volunteer programs ever.
