Lynn Family Stadium's Sunday Market Opens May 19

Lynn Family Stadium will launch a new Sunday Market this month aimed at addressing community food insecurities and elevating local businesses.

The Sunday Market will open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. each weekend May 19 through August 18, rain or shine, at the Butchertown neighborhood venue. Vendors are expected to feature fresh produce, baked items, art, handcrafted goods, food trucks, live entertainment and more.

Parking is free for guests. Access to restrooms and seating will be provided.

"We wanted to add a market to the city that gave vendors and local businesses another day to operate while not being in competition with an existing event," said Richard Hendry, Lynn Family Stadium's booking manager. "So Sunday seemed like the obvious choice. We hope that the community will visit us each Sunday and support local business."

Lynn Family Stadium's Sunday Market has room for 75 vendors and six food trucks each week. Those interested in participating should contact Hendry at rhendry@lynnfamilystadium.com.
