Largest-Ever RDA Spring Invitational Draws from All over Region

Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release
The third edition of the Riverhounds Development Academy's Spring Invitational was the biggest yet, with a total of 105 teams competing from May 3-5 at Highmark Stadium, AHN Montour and venues around Allegheny County in one of the last big events before teams wrap up for summer or head off to regional and national championships.
Seven states were represented in the competition, as clubs from Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and New York joined teams representing both Western and Eastern Pennsylvania over the three days of play.
The RDA wishes to thank the sponsors for the Spring Invitational - King Orthodontics, The Strong Museum of Play, Anchor & Anvil Coffee Bar and RKL - as well as the many coaches and volunteers who gave their time to make this year's third edition of the tournament a success.
A total of 10 different clubs were represented as the top finishers in various age groups, including eight winners from RDA City teams and five more in a strong showing by the RDA East. A complete list of the weekend's champion teams and photos of some of the winners can be found below.
