TONIGHT'S OPPONENT: Ryan Edell, 23, is a 6-1, 195-pound left-hander selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 8th round of the 2005 draft. The College of Charleston product went 0-1 with a 3.44 ERA (18.1 ip, 19 h, 8 r, 7 er, 5 bb, 12 k) in 6 starts for Low-A Lake County in 2006. In his first professional campaign, the Boston, Massachusetts native went 3-4 with a 2.95 ERA in Mahoning Valley. Edell went 8-2 with a 3.67 ERA in his final collegiate campaign with the Cougars.
