
Lumberjacks to Hold Free Clinic

Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks announced today that they will be holding a free baseball clinic for children ages 6-13 on Sunday, August 31 at Mahaney Diamond.
The Jacks players will help children with all aspects of the game including, hitting, throwing, base running, pitching, and defense. Children must bring their own equipment including, but not limited to, bats, gloves, and cleats.
The clinic is being presented by the Partnership for a Tobacco-Free Maine, and will begin at 12 PM. Check-in is at 11:30 AM. To sign up, call Ryan Conley at the Lumberjacks Office at (207) 947-1900. Spots are limited to the first 50 and all children must be signed up by August 28.
After the clinic, the Lumberjacks will take on the North Shore Spirit at 7:15 PM for Margaritas Night at the Lumberjacks. Margaritas Restaurant will be giving out sombreros and leis to the first few hundred fans through the gate. Prizes will include VIP dinners at Margaritas. The Lumberjacks will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off via a silent auction, and the Lumberjacks will conclude the night with an explosive fireworks display. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Lumberjacks at (207) 947-1900 or by stopping in the Lumberjacks Pro Shop in the Bangor Mall.
