Lumberjacks Bobble-Heads to be Delayed

Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks, a proud member of the Northeast League, regretfully announced today that the bobble-head dolls for the Jacks first Bobble-head night will be delayed due to production limitations of international suppliers.

The night, scheduled for Friday, August 8 will feature the Lumberjacks game against the Berkshire (MA) Black Bears followed by a fireworks presentation. All season, ten pack, and five pack ticket holders will be asked to hold on to their promotion cards, as the bobbles are expected to arrive later in the month. The first few hundred fans through the gates will receive a voucher redeemable for the bobble-heads once they arrive.

Updates on the status of the bobble-heads will be available on the Lumberjacks website at www.bangorlumberjacks.com. The game will begin at 7:15 with gates opening at 6 PM. The fireworks show will follow the game.

The Lumberjacks are back at Mahaney Diamond on Sunday August 3 to begin a seven game home stand. Sunday, August 3 is WEZQ 92.9 FM Family Fun Day meaning that fans have the opportunity to purchase a Jack Pack, which includes four reserved tickets to the game, four hot dogs, four programs, a pre-game ball toss on the field and a post game running of the bases and party piñata courtesy of Cumulus Broadcasting. Tickets are available by calling the Lumberjacks Ticket Office at (207) 947-1900 or by stopping in the Lumberjacks Pro Shop in the Bangor Mall.
